Indeed, Harley-Davidson® seemed to understand the limitless potential of this young entertainer from the start and graciously sent him off with a chrome-plated blessing that read "Good luck for your future, Elvis®." Not surprisingly, Elvis® would continue his love affair with motorcycles (in addition to his fondness for collecting automobiles) and in many ways they became closely linked with his early image.
